Workshop Description:

This workshop will discuss how to best understand Relapse and the most effective way to respond to it for the addicted person and stakeholders.  Also discussed will be the factors that contribute to Relapse understood through the varying phases of relapse, triggers, and relapse prevention.  Relapse will also be examined through a spiritual lens.

As a result of this workshop, the participant will gain an understanding of…

  • what relapse is and how to identify the signs of relapse;
  • the relapse process and specific phases;
  • the best practices associated with responding to relapse; and
  • the triggers and prevention of relapse.
