Training Description: Our culture is confronted with so many varieties of substances to numb our emotions and experience highs from alcohol, marijuana, pain-killers, to more dangerous drugs. Learn the latest trends, most commonly used drugs, the distinguishing characteristics of each drug and its effect on the user.

You will leave this workshop with an understanding of…

  • Primary drugs of use in the U.S;
  • Characteristics of these drugs;
  • Effects of these drugs on the user; and
  • Understanding what “withdrawal” means.
